Next week, we are going to begin to talk about the most important part of the handicapping equation .... we're going to start to answer the question: What is Shape? Until then, heres a pop quiz after you do it, email me your answers, because I would like to know what youre thinking and why - it will help me to explain. Do it honestly answer what you think, not what you feel I want you to say. These will also help you to understand and see what your natural inclinations are. These arent trick questions. Im putting them here as a way of learning and exploring, not humiliating anyone. For all these questions, assume a fast track, a mile track, normal bias and that they are all of the same general ability level, all racing recently, all at the same track, all had racing room - no tricks here, no smart alek stuff. (p = parked). In each case - assume that the only thing you know about the horse is what I tell you pretend you walked into the track and this was all you have.
